The driver is for both sound manager and asio. There is a new driver and
control panel on the web that was a fix for the old one. Only after four
hours of wasted effort did I learn that the original driver was no good. It
would have been helpful if there had been release notes with "known bugs".
The new control panel is a bit of a kludge. You can have the optical/coaxial
output or the analog output, but not both.
Regardless, it does work and will no doubt get better.
