has anyone read the second announcement of the USB interface for recording
computer audio to MD? Here's a clip from the article:
The Plug & Play interface easily connects through the primary USB port of
a PC, eliminating the need to open the computer or connect to a sound card
while delivering superior audio performance with the high quality
digital-to-analog converter called the PCLink
Sounds cryptic to me. I wonder if the interface is gonna be totally digital
or the PC link is gonna have a DAC in between, resulting in a semi-digital
(until the signal hits the PClink DAC)transfer?
Any ideas?
