Absolutely! And for the same money (�45) you can get the VideoLogic Sonic
Vortex 2 which has the best digital output of any consumer grade sound card.
The only thing it lacks is direct digital input from the CD-ROM, but you can
easily get around this by using WinAmp and the CDDA plugin. It's also a
better option if electronics scare you a bit....
