        Give them a try, listen to them. Never trust speakers reputation,
as YMMV depending on your personal tastes, and this is a very subjetive
area. The only field were using known-reputation speakers that comes to
mind is when using close field monitors for reference to domestic average
equipment when mixing (i.e. the ubitiquous Yamaha NS-10, etc) on recording
or broadcasting studios.

        It happens that I have a couple of british speakers, the B&W
DM602. They're nice shelf speakers, relatively cheap, with sweet sound. I
listened to a lot of amps/speakers when shopping, and in its price range
are the best in my opinion.

        Be sure to try either with your actual amp, sound can change
dramatically from amp to amp.
