Jim quoted Maria,
| There's no end search, to record, you play/ff the last track, press
| record, adjust the recording level, enter the syncho recording level, and
| when the unit hears sound it records, REAL NEAT!
If you really have to play or FF to the last track first before you can
record into open space, then that *is* manual end search, and it's even worse
than Sony's one-button implementation. I would guess that that isn't neces-
sary, and that like other Sharp portables its end search is automatic.

It was Dana Carvey who played the Church Lady. Myers's other SNL characters
included Dieter from "Sprockets," Simon (the lonely boy who drew in the bath-
tub), and theater critic Cucumber Jones, as well as Wayne Campbell [opposite
Carvey as Garth Algar] in "Wayne's World" and Linda Richman in "Coffee Talk."
(Actually, he started "Coffee Talk" playing a male host named Paul Baldwin.)
