Lots of valid points, none of which address two important facts:

One: infringement of a registered copyright in the US in excess of $2500
(IIRC, the actual monetary value may have been adjusted) is a federal
felony offense.  Such crimes are investigated and prosecuted by the FBI.
Aiding and abetting most certainly is a relevant term when it comes to
large-scale "trading" of copyrighted works.

Two: Napster and My MP3 lost.

I'm not going to tell you not to "trade" illegal copies of music.  What I
am telling you is not to advertise the fact that you are doing it here,
because I'd rather not have it shut down.
