Well, there are some that do optical out, eg the Xitel DG2 (does all
recorders, dg1 only does sony portables) but you need OS 9, anything less
and it dont work. I've heard of a few that are USB to optical and optical to
usb, i think i have seen them, its just a matter of looking for them. It
wont take u long, just open up google.com
