That whole anti trust thing turned out to be a joke. Now with the present
administration in Washington, that's the end of that.

One of the main companies that is unhappy about Microsoft is Netscape. But for the
most part Microsoft has killed Netscape usage (I still personally use Netscape, but
not version 6!). But look who owns Netscape now, AOL, which is now AOL Time
Warner. That may not be any better than Microsoft.

Have you ever noticed that with each version of Windows they promise more
stability. You'd think by now that it would be practically impossible for Windows
to lock up. But it seems to lock up just as much as ever, if not more.

And it isn't just third party software, Microsoft's products may be the worst
offenders.

But I'm not on an anti Microsoft wagon. This is one case where it is a waste of
time and energy to try and complain. Eventually every giant will fall. It may take
a long time, but it always happens.

Eventually (maybe not in our life time :) ) someone will come along with a better
product and it will be a person that would rather win than be rich (this may take
even longer than I was first thinking).

Matsushita used to be the GE of Japan. Sony was a tiny company next to them. Now
Sony owns a large portion of the American music and film industry.

When I was a kid General Motors was the largest manufacture to make up our gross
national product.

Enough of my ranting.
