I am getting this same error deploying Windows 7 Ent SP1 using CM12 and MDT
2012 update 1.
I cannot find the variable OSDIsk getting set in the bdd log or in smsts.log.

Anyone know offhand where and when this var gets set?

You are not using an older MDT files package (from the beta/RC1 timeframe)?

Subject: [MDT-OSD] MDT &SCCM 2012 Error /target parameter specifies an invalid
target location

I am using SCCM 2012 and MDT 2012 build 6.1.2373.0 Update 1. I doing a bare
metal build and it sets the OSDisk variable as I can see it in WinPE. I Can
write to the OSDisk and it has letter C. The log file still says invalid target
for /target:%OSDisk%.

Any ideas?
