AdminStudio is the way to go 100%!!! as for getting the in-house apps
packaged by the developers, no chance! they just spray s**t everywhere. At
least we can control what shortcuts go where and the portions of the
applications to be installed. Not many applications have command line
parameters that will allow you to only install certain components. If you
want granular control over what gets installed, you SHOULD be repackaging.

Repackahin is a skill and not a simple task to do right.

Oh, I'm the ConfigMgr Admin as well as the Desktop SOE Admin, so I have my
foot in two pools.
