I did read the docs, which are good. Just having something to decipher the conditions in each group would be helpful. There are cases where we won't want backups, where we will have offline backups, and where we might want online backups. With SCCM2007 and MDT2010, I split these out into different task sequences just to ease any confusion for the techs. Johan's DeploymentCD was fantastic in helping me get things set up in 2007. SCCM isn't the only hat I wear around here anything to help me get up to speed quickly is of course beneficial.

Once you are comfortable with the end-to-end process, then you can figure out how it all works :) There are conditions on steps and groups that cause them to be skipped in some scenarios. At the beginning, for example, it would appear that if the system is booted into WinPE it will format the disk, yet how would it do an offline USMT later on? I guess I am not reading the conditions correctly. The MDT "Client Task Sequence" seems to have a lot more steps than before and I am trying to decipher all the logic/conditions for each step. Is there any general explanation or walk through of the workflow through each section of the sequences? Or do I just have to read over each step and decipher the conditions, etc.? I am a little surprised that the majority of the steps have nothing written in the description box. Thanks.
