Don't have McAfee on the deployment server. I found the wpeinit.log. Will
see if I can get it out or look thru it.

Do you have McAfee on your deployment server? It’s possible that something
is preventing the installation of the Windows PE optional components, hence
you just get dumped to a command prompt inside Windows PE.

When you get to that command prompt, can you get a copy of the WPEINIT.LOG
from X:\Windows\system32?

Thanks,
-Michael

I have a MDT light touch server(OS 2008 r2 with Hyper-V) that was upgraded
from MDT 2010 to MDT 2012. After the upgrade all of the task sequences
fail. They start and I get the blue Microsoft screen but then get a
command window and all processing stops. I don't get the Welcome screen.
I can't find any logs. I have rebuilt the boot .iso. Does any one have a
guess what might be wrong?

Steve
