With our SCCM2012 environment, we are starting fresh with a brand new setup (our current 2007 was a migration from 2003 so there is a lot of old clutter). We have a small site so it's not a huge project to start over from scratch. The only thing we are going to migrate over is the MDT Db. We use a number of Roles in the MDT Db, and I know we will have to edit each one to adjust the packages/programs that the Roles installed (because we will be making new ones in SCCM2012). Is it a simple case of simply editing the Role, leaving the role name, and therefore the roles on the machine records will work? Or is there more to this? Thanks!
