Even easier is to do it in sql and just update to the new value where the old value exists. update cs.ini with new db server name also. We have a small site so it's not a huge project to start over from scratch. The only thing we are going to migrate over is the MDT Db. We use a number of Roles in the MDT Db, and I know we will have to edit each one to adjust the packages/programs that the Roles installed (because we will be making new ones in SCCM2012). Is it a simple case of simply editing the Role, leaving the role name, and therefore the roles on the machine records will work? Or is there more to this? Thanks!
