Sounds like your image is questionable. Did you sysprep? Where did you
sysprep from?

Subject: RE: [MDT-OSD] Issue building Hyper-V VM in MDT

I just tried another test with Startup RAM set at 2048 MB not using Dynamic
Memory. WinPE loads fine and the OS is installed. However, I get the
following error at first boot

Windows Boot Manager

Windows failed to start. A recent hardware or software change might be the
cause..

Status: 0xc0000001

If I load the normal Windows Server 2012 DVD then I can install the old
fashioned way then the OS loads without issue. It's only when I deploy
Server 2012 via MDT.

Make sure to specify at least 1GB of RAM (the default is 512MB) and if using
dynamic memory set the minimum RAM to at least 1GB as well. (Windows PE
struggles if there isn't enough RAM.)

Thanks,

-Michael

Subject: [MDT-OSD] Issue building Hyper-V VM in MDT

Hello,

It has been impossible to build Server 2012 OS on a VM in Server 2012 R2
Hyper-V host using MDT 2013 ADK 8.1. The VM freezes at the Windows logo
screen. The only way I can build Server 2012 is to use the Windows 2012
DVD. Do I have to inject any drivers in MDT? Is this a known issue? It is
quite frustrating when you cannot build a Microsoft OS using Microsoft
technology.

Any help or suggestions would be great.

Thanks
