We have a number of images:

*         32bit for Staff (Windows 7, Office 2010, Adobe Reader, Flash Player 
etc. plus any updates) = 6.6 Gb

*         64bit for Staff (Windows 7, Office 2010, Adobe Reader, Flash Player 
etc. plus any updates) = 7.9 GB

*         32bit for Student Labs (Based on staff image but with site licensed 
teaching software included) = 27.3 GB

*         64bit for Student Labs (Based on staff image but with site licensed 
teaching software included) = 30.1 GB

We use SCCM to build and capture the images.

ours is sitting at 9gb. I thought i would be clever and mounted and deleted the 
"installer" folder contents, but it busted the ability to change office via 
add/remove.

This is a pretty thing wim. Just windows plus office and patches
