MDT, the gpo merely plugs in the necessary settings so that bitlocker can be

Hmm,

Is it the GPO that’s starting the drive encryption or is it the MDT deployment 
that’s starting the encryption ?

Hi John

We deploy laptops/tablets without mbam and indeed withe the proper gpo's it 
starts the encryption process itself.

I've set it up that it will wait for the recovery key to be uploaded into AD 
and it starts...works like a charm.
