IIRC, you can *NOT* run WDS on a workstation, it is included as a Windows Server component. Server license *is* required.

Im just making a mental checklist of things I would need and I dont see why it wouldnt work. Checklist: * Tftp server * Dhcp server * Http server to help tftp server * PXELinux config to boot litetouch.bin * SMB file share of MDT deployment point If its possible then I dont see why multicasting wouldnt be possible as well. For those who say just use WDS, Im pretty sure there is a cost to using WDS . Cost of a MS server license.
