Thanks again to all who responded, as a way to give back, I have written a
couple of scripts for importing the Dell Driver Cabs directly into MDT
LiteTouch.

Thanks again

Thanks to all who responded, I am trying to create some scripts to help
auto-import drivers into MDT Litetouch (perhaps SCCM later), starting with
the Dell Driver Catalog, I can now have a better impression of which
makes/models in the catalog have a direct 1:1 relationship with the
Make/Model information returned from each BIOS.

95% of the systems look pretty straight forwards, however I can see some
systems listed would have problems (see: R3PXF J5VX9 VH2G7), so I have
decided to skip Tablets, and stick to those Make/Models that match
"^[TERM]?[0-9]{3,4}[smU]?$"

I hope to post my script(s) soon. :)

Thanks all.

Subject: [MDT-OSD] list of Makes/Models...

Can I persuade a Config Mgr Admin for a list of Computer Makes/Models as
queried from the BIOS/Firmware? Hopefully a broad unique list of Makes and
Models for current machines. Lenovo's, HP's, Dell's, more?

I've been working on some Driver management solutions for an OS Deployment
system(LTI & ZTI), but my hardware lab is quite limited right now, so it's
hard to create a structured driver system without the correct make/models.

(and of course because Lenovo. ComputerSystemProduct)

gwmi -query "select Manufacturer,Model FROM Win32_ComputerSystem"

gwmi -query "select Version FROM Win32_ComputerSystemProduct"

Thanks in advance,
