this will be sad. Dell is usually awesome about not making management a 
headache. That's why I won't work anywhere that doesn't use Dell.

I think Dell might be adjusting their model names.  I had a new precision a few 
weeks ago with the model name Precision T5810.  Today I received one with the 
model name 'Precision Tower 5810'.  This sort of change will require reworking 
of any task sequences you might have that detect model name and then apply an 
appropriate driver pack for that model or update BIOS or anything else you have 
based on WMI filters for Model name.

I hope this doesn't turn into a fiasco.   Does anyone here know what is going 
on?
