Some time ago I started getting the Intel video drivers from Intel's
download site because I found that using the Dell packaged video driver
would limit a certain resolution that we needed for some of our projectors.

We've recently started deploying Lync, and a few users noticed some
problems with Audio drivers causing the Lync client to stop responding,
This week, one of our IT team was having Lync not respond when starting any
kind of video. I'm not sure where he found it, but some post or article
indicating that it could be a video card problem.

tl;dr

Is using Intel's "Generic" drivers from their site be just as good, or
should I really be using the Dell customized version? What do you guys use?
