You can't just go into the setupapi log files without a game plan.
You need to start with the device in question. Go into the Device Manager (Devmgmt.msc) find the device that is missing (Yellow Bang <!>) and grab the Plug and Play ID from the properties. I joined the log files. Maybe you could tell me what to look for in these logs because i don't really understand them :( _____ From: [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> To: [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> Subject: RE: [MDT-OSD] Standalone Media drivers not installed properly Date: Mon, 9 Feb 2015 12:19:05 -0800 I wonder if your machine is connecting to Windows Update to get the latest drivers while connected to the network, and your stand alone has no network, can you try installing stand alone media plugged with access to the internet? Otherwise it's a matter of digging into the c:\windows\inf\setupapi.*.log files to find the real story. :( From: [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Chris DESCAMPS Sent: Monday, February 9, 2015 9:04 AM To: [email protected] <mailto:[email protected]> Subject: [MDT-OSD] Standalone Media drivers not installed properly Hi guys, I've recently made a couple of MDT masters and got a problem with the Standalone Media. With a network deployment there is no issues, all drivers, applications, etc are included. When i deploy with the MDT Standalone media some drivers (or all of them) are not installed on the computer. They're present in the media, i can see in the ZTIDrivers.log that they're copied on the computer but they're not installed. Does anyone experienced the same issue with these Media? Thanks, Chris.
