Anytime you get a hard lock like that on a machine suggests to me that you have some bad/missing drivers. NVMe comes to mind first, but shouldn’t be a problem if you have Windows 10 1511. Additionally, I would update the BIOS.
What OS? Windows 10 Version 1507 or 1511 or Windows 8.1? What version of WinPE? ADK version 1511? SSD or NVMe?
