I have been doing UVNC during the WinPE Phase myself (don’t got the license for dart).
To improve a little on that blogpost. First make sure that you download the SecureVNC plugin from http://www.uvnc.com/downloads/encryption-plugins/87-encryption-plugins.html It solves to major issues with VNC. 1. The encryption algorithm is very weak – with this plugin you can use AES 2. The VNC standard only allows for eight character passwords. You can enter longer passwords but only the eight first will be used. This plugin changes that You can also add certificates to the mix to beef up security some more. The second improvement is to do the firewall part a little better. The blogpost says that we should disable the firewall and leave it disabled. I prefer to stop it, reg add the proper firewall rules for Uvnc and then restart the FW.
