I don't know why Totem is called "Movie Player" but I don't feel comfortable with it. If every piece of software try to use a generic name, then I would get 3 "Movie Player"s in the menu if I install also mplayer and vlc, which looks ridiculous. Plus, isn't the GenericName field inside .desktop file for a _generic_ name? Is there a guideline for naming stuff anywhere?
Whatever it is named in the menu, thanks for the work Michael, really like this software. Cheers, P.D. Status in Me TV, it's TV for me computer: Invalid Bug description: After installation, the menu item says "Digital Television" which should better be "Me TV", as the latter is what it is. Although "Me TV" appears in the file /usr/local/share/applications/me-tv.desktop, it is the value of "GenericName" instead of "Name".
