Abhishek, Bordering on offtopic here but some thoughts that come to mind as common gotchas:
Assuming it's on EC2, what EC2 instance type are you running your application on and what OS installation? Some instances are burstable and you will get very aggressive throttling after some period of work. You'll need to share additional information about the instance - storage details, etc. You might not have sufficient IOPS provisioned against the datastore backing your instance.
