I would agree with this. However I see none of the symptoms that we typically 
see when looking at AWS constrained systems. That isn’t to say that AWS isn’t 
to blame. There is one additional point to consider, if AWS is responsible for 
slowing down the collector than I would expect that effect to be seen some what 
evenly over the entire application. IOW, what bugs the collector will have the 
same effect on your app. GC logs just make the effect more visible making it 
easy to blame the collector. That AWS hides important information from you is a 
shame because it makes these generally easy diagnostics much more complicated.
