greetings, using portmidi (131) for prodatum (cross platform sysex editor) here. everything works smooth for me, on all three platforms, with an m- audio 2496 pci interface and also with e-mu USB interfaces.
two prodatum users with m-audio midisport devices report crashes however (the same users have other devices which work for them). so, since it works great with those other devices can we be sure that its a driver bug of the midisport devices? is it even known? btw, both users have the latest drivers from m-audio installed. or is there any implementation specific stuff that manufacturers of midi devices can choose from and that i should be aware of, so that i can pull some switches to make it work? i mean, could this also be a software problem that occurs more likely on specific "types" of hardware? thank you so much, JanE _______________________________________________ media_api mailing list media_api@create.ucsb.edu http://lists.create.ucsb.edu/mailman/listinfo/media_api
