hello Roger,

windows XP platform. the crash happens somewhere at initalization
(means, we are sysex-requesting a lot to fill our instrument browsers
and such). unfortunately i don't know much more (i can not reproduce
it with my hardware). basically a lot of sysex traffic that goes out
and comes in.
you could try to reproduce it with prodatum only if you had an e-mu
proteus 2000 synthesizer.
if you haven't seen anything like it, it is probably a problem within
prodatum. i have problems to catch it though...it puzzles me that it
works with other devices.
if it helps, i can upload a sysex transfer log of an successfull
initialization, so you can get an idea of what is going on.
best would probably if i get a midisport and send it back in a week or
so...just to test and debug this.

All the best,
JanE
