The British Council is looking for the next creative champions to represent
Indonesia at
The International Young Creative Entrepreneur of the Year (IYCEY) Award
competition in the UK.
The IYCEY programme rewards the talent and initiative of young entrepreneurs
in the creative industries those who possess the sense of enterprise and
creativity to promote high quality creativity and to make a living from it.
If you are a risk-taker and passionate about your industry, this is your
chance to go to the next level!
DESIGN
Winners UK Tour includes exhibition at the 100% Design show; meetings with
top designers Tom Dixon and Sir Terence Conran; visits to Londons Design
Museum and the Lighthouse centre for architecture and design in Glasgow, and
the chance to win £7,500 project grant!
Who can apply?
25-35 years old professionals with a minimum of 2 years experience in any of
the following design sectors:
· Architecture, interiors and environment
· Graphic design: communication, publishing, branding and multimedia
· Product design manufacture: furniture, industrial products and craft
· Interactive and digital media
· Design promotion: exhibitions, events, festivals and retail
We recognise that a participant may strongly influence the business of design
without being a practising designer.

FILM
Film/television winner get to tour the UK film and television industry in
London and Wales, network with the most successful leaders and innovators in
the business, attend the Times BFI London Film Festival, and compete for the
£7,500 award!
Who can apply?
Candidates must already be active professionally in Indonesias for at least
2 years in any of the following film sectors:
· Film development, production, post-production
· Film distribution and/or sales
· Film exhibition cinema/venue and/or festival/event programming and
management
· Film journalism (print and broadcast) and publishing
· Film marketing, internet websites/ web networks, public and media relations
· Film promotion, education and retail
· Artist management
We recognise that participants may be active as filmmakers. However, their
work as artists should be secondary to their focus as entrepreneurs in the
promotion of their sector in their country. Cinematic talent/output will not be
factored into the judging procedure- finalists will be judged solely on the
merit of their entrepreneurial abilities in the film business.
