Remember when people had the patience to "check in" at restaurants or other businesses on their iPhones in order to get discounts? Okay, some people still do, and it appears as if Apple plans to begin catering more closely to that demographic as part of its new Maps app in iOS 6. According to Bloomberg, Apple's SDK for developers shows that mobile check-ins to business review site Yelp will be integrated into the new Maps app, though there's no direct indication that other check-in services will be included.
