We are running the (admittedly old) 1.11. PNG uploads have stopped working properly.
We have three wikis in a farm. Two of them have $wgVerifyMimeType set to false - PNGs can be uploaded, but they won't render and can't be put into a page. The other one, PNGs won't even upload. JPEGs and SVGs appear to work fine. PHP is 5.1.6.
