Hi Tim, you are right. Siteground uses ImageMagick but not Maiahost, my new webhost. Maiahost did set up the website correctly for me using GD and it was running fine.
I did a backup of this "new" database before I upgrade it to Mediawiki 1.14 but it didn't work. What I did was to set up a new wiki, using the latest Mediawiki version, but linking it to the old database. Many errors were generated because I forgot to transfer the image folder. When I did after realizing the mistake, most of the errors disappear, leaving only those errors relating to two lines of codes in includes/media folder. Otherwise, everything looks fine. Fortunately, I asked Maiahost to keep the website at Siteground<http://e-komputer.info/Free_Simplified_Online_Encyclopedia>rather than moving it during the transfer, otherwise it is the end of my two years' effort. Maiahost is helping me restore the database (I gave them the wrong location for the backup and they couldn't find it, LOL. Real screwed up.) Let's see if it works.
