I think the best way to do it would be for you to get commit access
and then to commit each of your small independent patches as separate
svn revisions. As I said on the bug report, it should be committed to
a branch, not to trunk.
I can give you commit access if you give me your preferred username
and a link to your public key (preferably hosted on an HTTP server you
control).
