Yes and no.
LinkedIn has the "feature" that it allows sending invitations to everyone in 
your address book or something like that.

Understood, but though I am not a linked in member and refuse to be one, it is 
y understanding that the message is sent at the request of a particular member, 
hom I further assume to be on the list. Having made all these assumptions my 
ogic is surely unassailable.  ;)

 The e-mail came from LinkedIn servers, so I don't think they got
 your message ;-) Bug 29855[0] is open for killing these stupid
 invitations.
