It's not that bad.
There are two ugly pieces:
* Having to use {{!}} everywhere instead of |
* You can't use a tag like
<defined>
{{!}} colspan="2" style="text-align:center;" {{!}}
[[image:{{{image}}}{{!}}300x200px{{!}}center]]
{{!}}-
</defined>
and make that block magically disappear if {{{image}}} wasn't defined.
