Public bug reported:
The version of libavformat-extra-52 in the Medibuntu repository includes
ffmpeg as one of the packages to be removed when libavformat-extra-52 is
installed. I then re-installed Ubuntu but I locked the libavformat-
extra-52 package in Synaptic prior to installing the Medibuntu
repository. This solved the problem, as installing libavformat-extra-52
no longer resulted in the removal of ffmeg.
