Renee,
I would actually create 3 compute fields. Assuming that the query you
reference is "FAULT" the first computed field would be ..

xx.user
DAT=FREE
LEN=1
[EMAIL PROTECTED]"FAULT"]="UE" "X"}

Then place that field under the user error column

Then do the same for "M" and "NFF".

Of course you need to replace "FAULT" with the actual mnemonic of the
query. Also, since I don't know the DPM you were writing this in, you
may have to adjust the field that references cds response. (@response
or @query.response...)

Thanks,
Brian

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] npr help with computed field

If someone can help me with this npr question, I'd really appreciate it.
I'm working on a report that I want the response of a query to print in
it's appropriate column on the report.

Ex. user error mechanical error no fault

         X                X               X

The name of my query is BMOUT01 and the responses could be UE, M or NFF.
Thanks in advance.
