Job
Description
- Develop and coordinate
strategic and operational plans for implementation of electronic medical
record systems
- Lead cross-functional teams to
evaluate, plan, implement, support and manage the deployment of EMR
systems
- Coordinate task, time, scope,
resources and budget management.
- Collect necessary input from
end users on different or new scope requirements.
- Ensure that project remains on
timelines
- Establish and maintain staffing
models for completion of project
- Coordinates clinical content
customization
- Assist in work-flow
reengineering
- Develop orientation sessions
for health center staff
- Liaison with IT department
- Participate in EMR contracts
and negotiations
- Maintain up to date knowledge
on EMR technology
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Must have BA or BS and/or MS
level education, or Clinical Office experience
- Knowledge of healthcare
organizations
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in
technical field
- Minimum 3 years of project
management experience
- Experience in EMR
implementation, preferred
- Excellent planning and
organizational skills
- Excellent communication and
presentation skills
- Demonstrate leadership skills
- Dynamic, team player
