I would like to hear from other facilities that have a hospitalist program. We have a hospitalist program and we are having difficulties with the set up in provider dictionary as well as MIS user dictionary. One of our hospitalist is an ER physician and one also has his own practice. It is difficult to identify the hospitalist vs own practice with patients and rounding reports in PCI. We are not wanting two entries in either dictionary for each physician. We use the "other provider" area in Registration and that even creates problems with reports. Any suggestions on how we can identify the "hospitalist" physician? We are a 5.4 Magic MT site.
