We now have Exitcare, and are wanting to set things up so that each
registration is automatically fed over to Exitcare.

We've done quite a bit of homework on this, but still are not
successful. We're looking for someone who's done this. Here's where we
are now:

1. We have a server set up with Exitcare on it. Additionally, we've
defined a virtual printer on it for file download. The printer is
called (if you can believe this) "ExitCare".

2. We have a printer set up under Manage Open Systems in the OPS menu
of Meditech. It too is called Exit Care and its parameters are as
follows:
Printer EXITCARE
Description SCRIPT RX
Model LPR/LCD
TCP Port 515
Nagle N
Remote Host EXITCARE
Remote Name EXITCARE

3. The remote host is set up for the IP address of the server in
question.

4. We have a file (from Exitcare) called
ADM.PAT.zcus.hubit.dwp.exitcare, which is programmed (in TEST) into our
face sheet.

5. We also have a file ADM.PAT.zcus.adm.form9 that will print what we
want manually.

6. We have tested the manual download to insure that the data can be
read by Exitcare. (It can.)

7. We have set up 9 as a form under ADM Cust Defined Parameters (in
TEST). We have also set it to produce a filename based on the acct
number with the mqi extension.

8. We have edited the file (under #5 above) to select for /urn and
tried to run it.

9. The file goes to the virtual printer, but remains hung there and
never gets to its destination on the server.

I'd truly appreciate some help with this one from any of you with
experience.
