Hi Carole, We do this by having a Query Link set up to trigger an order (this in the PCS Query Link Dictionary). Once the assessment is filed the defined orders pop up in POM. The user can take the order or not. It even states if it is a duplicate order. I then have NPR reports attached to the orders that print. Nursing can also print the education screens if ordered by the doc at discharge. It is working for us and is making QRM happy... -----Original Message----- From: [EMAIL PROTECTED] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Carole Nixon Sent: Thursday, March 23, 2006 9:05 AM To: [email protected] Subject: [MEDITECH-L] (no subject) All messages should be posted in plain text. The meditech-l web site is MTUsers.com ====================================== Hello All, I have a question re: triggering a form to print in response to a specific query response. From what I have learned so far, it doesn't seem possible. If anyone out there has come up with a way to trigger printing a form to a query response, we would greatly appreciate if you could share your info! Our goal is to trigger printing patient discharge instructions for Core Measures issues when the nurse/user answers a query such as "Was the patient diagnosed with CHF during this hospital stay?" with a "Y" response. Thanks for any help you can offer!
