And how many of you were there when Meditech promised that C/S would be built around a SQL database running under OS/2? Joel Berman President Iatric Systems, Inc. The meditech-l web site is MTUsers.com ====================================== Good Morning/Afternoon/Evening L: It really isn't as big an issue as you perceive Barbra. The C/S flavor still utilizes the MAGIC programming structure, and the modules operate in more or less the same fashion. Anyone doing npr coding in C/S can take a MAGIC npr, look at the source, and be able to do a 95-100% conversion of that npr into C/S. Attributes operate in much the same way. The biggest thing are the field names and DPM names. There are quite a few naming differences in the fields, but the fields still hold the same data. Procedures would differ on the absolute specifics, but the general flow would remain consistent. Granted, in a utopian L, subject lines would read "[C/S|MAGIC]: [NPR|Attribute|Procedure] Help - [Short description of problem]" but we are dreaming there... The meditech-l web site is MTUsers.com ====================================== Hello fellow L'er's, I have a hard time sometimes knowing if a message is a question about C/S or Magic. Some are obvious, some are not. I would reply to more issues if it were clear which MT platform is being used when the question is posted. I don't want to give instructions for "how to" in C/S if the facility is Magic. Just an observation. There are probably several people like me that do not respond if they are unsure.
