There are two ways that this can be done. Our main goal was to get the Clinic's lab results into the EMR. We created another facility in Meditech/EMR with no charges that we attached to the RXM order for MPM. The Lab staff for the fake facility enter the results as usual. So results are in the clinic EAR and in the EMR. Charges go through RXM to PBR for the clinic's billing. We also send orders directly to the hospital lab for completion and those results flow back to EAR/EMR as a typical outpatient. In 5.5 SR2 there is a new function that allows the manual entry of results for orders. This could be used rather than the above process we did in 5.4.
