Hi, I would like to know how other facilities register their self refer outpatient clients who do not have a referring physician. Currently, we have a NL (not listed) provider established in the provider dictionary, and this provider is entered as the attending provider. However, this practice is far from satisfactory, and we were wondering if other facilities register using non physician providers of care as the attending provider. Please advise.
