Hi Robin, We upgraded from Kronos 3A to 4.3 last year and paid Kronos for professional services to do much of the upgrade work. The upgrade was technically quite involved, and we were not offered the option of doing it ourselves -- nor did we have the expertise to do so. We have also used Kronos phone support for many hours at no charge to help with modifying work rules/pay rules, so this was obviously covered by our support agreement. Your Kronos support agreement may specify which services are included and which are not. Hope this helps. We are hearing from a Kronos person that the update is free but if we want Kronos to assist/answer questions (their professional services) re: the update we will need to pay them - not only once but twice (once for the live environment and once for the test environment). It seems to me this defeats the purpose of a maintenance contract. For anyone using Kronos has this been your experience or is the person we are speaking with have his information incorrect?
