Hey Doug,

Don't know if you received any replies. Seems to me you should be able to use it as a sort, although I've not done it yet. I've often used Query responses from another DPM as a select. Learned it from one of Joel Berman's readmission reports.

If you can get a value into a computed field you should be able to use it.

If you have an answer from someone who really knows I'd like to hear it. If not, I'm interested enough to probably write an example.

Let me know.

Here's one that I've never had occasion to try previously.... Any
assistance is greatly appreciated.

We have a report in EDM.PAT that, among other things, pulls over a query
response from OE.ORD via a fragment.

Now they want me to use that response as a key field to sort and total
by in another EDM.PAT report.
I've played with using OE.ORD and then fragging from EDM, but
unfortunately the higher-level sort of registration.date is an EDM field
and we need to stay there.

What I'm trying to determine is whether it is feasible to use the OE
query response in the EDM.PAT report in this manner and how to do it. I
suspect that a macro and/or an MV array will be needed, but would need
some guidance here.
