Our site is a C/S site, recently installed. Have been reporting many instances of lab collection labels not printing to lab label printers and can't seem to get a resolution. All our orders are placed in OE by users at nursing stations and other outpatient registration areas. Sometimes these are labels from an OE req with only one order and sometimes it is one order from an OE req with multiple lab orders that do generate labels (meaning that if several lab tests are ordered, one may not print, but the others do.) We are printing based on client settings in the Lab Client dx to Datamax I class printers. No one at Meditech seems to be able to come up with a solution and we have been missing labels since a month after go live (at least that is when folks started reporting these.) Meditech has set up trap code that does verify that some labels are not printing. Has anyone else experienced this problem and if so, any suggestions for solutions would be much appreciated.
