Good Morning, We're C/S 5.4 SR2, so I'm not sure if there are corresponding routines in Magic, but we had implemented our OR Module in 2000 using time-based charges for the OR and Recovery and just recently opened a Cardiac Cath Lab for which our Revenue Team asked that the charges be set up based on procedure. We did build new BAR procedure codes for the Cath Lab Procedures and assigned them in the OR Procedure dictionary as the Fee for Service in both the Primary and Secondary fields. We do however, still charges time-based rules for these same patients in Recovery. The Procedure based fees are specifically for the procedures during the operative phase. Hope this helps.
