Hello. Are your physician’s current signing
reports electronically in MEDITECH? If so, are you still printing reports
or have you stopped all printing in your Medical Records department? We
are in the process of selecting a pilot group for electronic signature.
Our HIS Director wants to stop printing any reports that are electronically
signed but MEDITECH does not give us the option to control printing by
physician, instead it appears to be by report type. One question
that’s come up is how are we going to know to send CCs to docs out of the area
